Women in Trades Bursary

Applications are now OPEN for 2026 bursaries!

The Northeastern Ontario Construction Association’s (NOCA) Women in Construction (WIC) Committee supports women pursuing careers in the skilled trades through its annual bursary program.
Qualifications
✔️ Must be enrolled, planning to enroll, or have graduated within six months before or after August 31, 2026, in a trades program within the construction industry (proof of enrollment and/or certification required at time of award).
✔️ Must be a resident of Northern Ontario
 
Your trade must meet the following criteria: an occupation that requires specialized knowledge, training, and practical skills to perform specific tasks, involving hands-on work, tools or the operation of heavy equipment, often performed in the construction industry.
 
This is a chance for students to receive up to $2,000 to support their studies and careers!
 
Deadline to apply: August 31, 2026
